Soooo! To say that I fell a little behind on this is an understatement. However, I’m still going to get all of the prompts up. I’ll be posting some back to back blogs here and getting them up in batches! I really do apologize – between the baby and getting prepped for NaNo (which took most of my free time) I’ve been really busy. However, I’m planning on doing daily update blogs come November, and things are finally starting to get into place with the kiddo (See: He can hold his head up now).

So, anyway. Let’s get these writing prompts going!

Day 8:

At 3 am you wake up out of a very sound sleep. You hear the ice cream truck outside of your house. And you realize, the sound that woke you up, was the sound of your 4 year old daughter, letting the screen down slam, as she left the house.

Day 9:

The man leans into you. There is a dark red almost black color to the whites of his eyes. He is so close his nose is almost touching your nose. You can feel his breath when he says, “We all have it in here. We are all infected.

Well, well! Here we are! As you’ve noticed, I’ve taken to posting two days at a time. My little boy is distracting, and I’m also trying to plot for NaNo! I won’t always do two days together, but I wanted you guys to know that I will always certainly  have these up, even if I have to do this a few times.

As a side note, I’m planning on doing these prompts and posting up some of my replies soon! I can’t’ wait to see what you guys come up with for these particular prompts!

Day 4:

Day 5:

So, there we have it! The writing prompts for day 4 and 5! I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with for these! Remember to link back to my blog if you do the prompts, so I can feature you on my weekly sum up post!

Sorry about the lack of prompts yesterday, guys! I actually had the blog written and didn’t post it. It looks like WordPress has updated so that I have to push the button twice. How weird. Anyway, I will be giving you two prompts today! Two pictures. Do one, do both! But here are your day 2 and 3 writing prompts for the 31 Days of Horror Prompts for October!

Day 2:

Day 3:

So, there they are. If you end up doing the prompts, let me know. I’d love to see your responses! I’m much like a few others here, I’m kind of hoping that one of these prompts is going to inspire something for NaNoWriMo. I’m still not completely sure as to what my idea is going to be, so we’re gonna see.

We are nearing the end of the month, so we’re nearing the end of these writing prompts. I’m still going to be doing daily blogs, as I said before, but I wanted to go ahead and get the rest of the prompts out there! I’ll be responding to some of these over the next few days, and I’d love to see your responses as well!

Prompt #28

“Before he could swat it away, it slithered beneath her skin.”

Prompt #29

You wake up in a room covered in blood – the problem is, none of the blood is yours.

Prompt #30

Write a new spin on an old Urban Legend.

Prompt #31

Write a Horror Story that takes place on Halloween!

So, there we are! Those are the last Horror Writing Prompts for Halloween! I’d really love to see what you guys come up with. It’s been such an adventure, and I love writing prompts.

I’ll probably be writing about NaNoWriMo for the next two days, and that is what my blogs will consist of for all of November! In December, we will get back to our regularly scheduled blogging program!

Until next time guys!!! Keep reading and writing, and keep being absolutely awesome!
